Micropack Expands Fire and Gas Mapping Expertise to the Middle East.
At Micropack, part of the Consilium Safety Group, being close to our customers is what matters most. That’s why we’re thrilled to share that our Senior Fire and Gas Mapping Consultant, Jamie Carroll, is moving to the UAE!
This move will help us grow our fire and gas mapping consultancy in the region and provide better support, training, and collaboration for our customers. With Jamie based at Consilium’s Sharjah office, we’re ready to take our service to the next level.
Ahead of Intersec 2025, we sat down with Jamie to hear more about this exciting step:
Who is Jamie Carroll?
“I’ve been part of Micropack for over seven years as a Senior Consultant specialising in hazard safety. My work involves mapping coverage reviews, training, and helping develop our HazMap3D software. I’ve also conducted site surveys worldwide, including a year as a Site Inspector in the USA.”
Why relocate to the UAE?
“This move is a great opportunity to strengthen our partnership with Consilium in the UAE, particularly with the market’s rapid growth. It’s also a personal chance for a lifestyle change and exciting new challenges as I continue to develop my career.”
What will your role involve?
“My role will remain focused on producing mapping reviews and consultancy. However, I’ll also take on more responsibility for promoting and delivering training on Micropack’s fire and gas mapping technologies in the region. I’ll be available locally for customer visits, presentations, and training sessions.”
What does this mean for Micropack’s customers?
“With a presence now on three continents, Micropack Consultancy will be even more accessible globally, providing faster support and closer partnerships with our customers.”
How do you feel about the move?
“I’m ready and excited! I’m looking forward to exploring the region, supporting our customers, and growing our team. Kicking off with Intersec in January feels like the perfect way to start this new journey.”
