FDS301HD Intelligent Visual Flame Detector

 The MICROPACK FDS301HD is an explosion proof intelligent visual flame detector. It processes live 2MP HD video images to detect the characteristic properties of flames visually, by means of its FM-certified, SIL 2 capable MAVIS detection algorithm and on-board digital signal processing. Backed by 30 years of Micropack field experience in the harshest locations around the globe, it delivers the longest detection range of any flame detector available today (up to 160m) with HD video and 24VDC power transmitted over a single instrumentation pair to distances up to 1km.

About the product

By detecting flames visually with its proprietary MAVIS algorithm, the FDS301HD delivers unrivalled false alarm immunity, rejecting flare reflections, hot CO₂ emissions and sunlight that trip up competing technology. In addition to delivering superior performance, the FDS301HD incorporates a live 2MP HD colour video output and on-board micro-SD card which records pre- and post-alarm footage for incident analysis.
